What Teachers Do At Morning Tea
What Teachers Do At Morning Tea In The Staffroom.
By Ava
At Point England School
At morning tea teachers go to the staffroom to listen to notices from Mr Burt.
Kids at Pt England have a good idea of what their teachers do at morning tea. Here is what some of them had to say. When interviewed Stacy, in year 5 said “I think they talk about the kids with their learning and eat their lunch.” Cameo said “I think they interact with each other on how to make us better learners, so we can strive to succeed and be future focused learners.”
Teachers go to the staffroom at morning tea, so that they can listen to Mr Burt, the principal. They have to listen to him make important speeches and talk to the other teachers.
When Interviewed Miss King, a teacher at Pt England, said ”We make a cup of instant coffee and we sit down and we listen to Mr Burt talk.”
Teachers work really hard and probably can’t wait till the school holidays in October.

Stone Collection
I worked out there were 96 stones.
First I did was 42 + 7=49 - 11=38 + 12=50 + 33=83 + 10=93 + 3=96
So if Robert he got 35 more he would have 131.

Maths Time
I worked that there were 3 pigs and 8 ducks.
I first did 11 circles and then I put 2 legs on them and that made 22 legs on them.
I knew that pigs had 4 legs so I had to add 2 more legs to 3 circles.
Which made 28.

Upgrading To Mature Clothes
Upgrading To Mature Clothes
By Ava
At Pt England School
WALT: use the structure of newspaper articles to write my own article.
At Pt England school the year 7 and 8s want to be distinguished from the younger students, so they get to wear jackets instead of jumpers.
The jackets costs $55 dollars. Which is $1 cheaper than the culottes at $56. There are also black hats that costs $10.Only 98% of Intermediate kids buy jackets.
It is a Black jacket with a zip down the front, and pockets. It has two stripes of red down the sides. She asked the people with the samples “ Can you please bring black and red.”
The Perfects picked out what the style was, but stuck with the colours red and black. Mrs Flavelle Said that she asked the kids. They wanted to distinguish the seniors with the culottes with one colour which was black and the jacket.
